The Ferret® 40 mm Barricade Penetrating Round is packed with an inert powder. It is a frangible projectile that is spin-stabilized via barrel rifling. It is non-burning and serves as a training round for our 40mm CN, CS, and OC Powder Ferret® rounds. It is mostly employed by tactical teams and is intended to break through barriers such as windows, hollow core doors, wallboards, and thin plywood. The nose ruptures on impact, delivering the inert powder instantly.
