The 40 mm Muzzle Blast CS Round is commonly employed as a crowd control tool for fast and near deployment. It may also be used in tactical operations such as barricaded subjects, room clearance, area denial, and small space contamination, as well as to contaminate crawl spaces and attics. As a pain compliance round, it is ideal for launching chemical-laden CS powder at close ranges during indoor or outdoor activities. The cloud of agents is extremely effective in filling gaps in dispersion lines and engaging crowds at close range.
