Defense Technology Ferret 40mm Inert Liquid Barricade Penetrator Round
The Ferret® 40mm Round is non-burning and safe for indoor usage. It is typically used by tactical teams for penetrating obstacles like windows, hollow core doors, wallboards, and thin plywood. When the nose cone hits the barrier, it ruptures and immediately delivers a tiny chemical payload inside a building or vehicle.
In a tactical deployment scenario, the 40mm Ferret is generally employed to free besieged people from limited spaces. Its goal is to reduce risks to all parties by requiring pain compliance, causing temporary suffering, and/or incapacitating potentially aggressive or dangerous persons.
