Danner Men's N45 Mid GTX
The N45 Mid GTX is made to handle mile after mile—and it can be rebuilt to take on even more. Designed with toughness and comfort in mind, the lightweight mesh upper is abrasion resistant, and the EnduroFoam midsole, a nitrogen-infused supercritical foam, provides rebound shock absorption and returns energy to the foot. The grippy rubber Vibram outsole utilizes Traction Lug technology and Megagrip traction for superior stability. The quick-dry GORE-TEX INVISIBLE FIT construction protects against wind and water and helps keep you on the trail in inclement weather. In addition, the foam-fabric tongue and gusset hug your instep to prevent unwelcomed hotspots.
Nylon-Poly Upper
The upper is constructed from a lightweight and abrasion resistant blend of nylon and polyester.
GORE-TEX (GTX) Invisible Fit
100% waterproof and breathable, Invisible Fit technology bonds the GORE-TEX membrane to the upper to create the same fit, flexibility and feel as non-protected shoes.
Foam-Core Gusset
The gusset and tongue are made with a foam-core fabric that provides comfort and durability. They also hug the instep to prevent hot spots.
Removable OrthoLite Footbed
Multiple layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.
EnduroFoam Midsole
EnduroFoam, Danner’s nitrogen-infused supercritical foam, is prized for its rebound, shock absorption and weight-to-performance ratio. The EnduroFoam midsole provides greater energy return on the trail, helping to ease the beginner in and keep the thru-hiker on trail for a few extra miles.
Vibram N45 Outsole
The exclusive Vibram N45 outsole with Megagrip technology offers superior grip on wet and dry surfaces.
Rock Plate
Lightweight and supportive, the TPU rock plate provides stability and underfoot protection on rough, uneven terrain.
How it Fits
Inspired from trail running, the DT6 last features an 8 mm. offset from heel to toe with slightly more width in the forefoot for stability and a good-looking, everyday-wearable aesthetic.
